super bowl 2012

Indianapolis newspapers said that there were over 140,000 people in town for the Superbowl. Between Friday night and Sunday night I believe that I saw each one of them. Some maybe twice. The city had suspended the open container laws (alcohol and beer drinking in public). I think everyone I saw had a bottle of beer in their hand. One girl was toting a half full bottle of whiskey.  The streets were jammed packed full of people. It reminded me of Mardi Gras where every other person is half or fully drunk. At times the streets were so packed nobody moved. That was just on Friday night. It drizzled all day Saturday, but we were out on the streets for eight hours despite the rain. Sunday after attending church service we were back on the streets again.  This time the weather was cool but dry.  We moved as close to the stadium as possible. The brothers I traveled with were bold for Christ. We passed out hundreds of tracts.

On this trip, five people repented of their sins and turned to Christ. Friday night a mother and daughter, Saturday a woman and a man, and Sunday a young man who was a vender around the stadium.  As I was praying with the vender, he shouted out to God, "Thank you Lord for sending this man to me at this time!"

We left just before the game actually started and headed home. Thank you for your support and prayers.

2011 ministry report

From the streets of Atlanta to the hills of Jasper, GA, to a wedding in Kansas City and the jungles of Panama, glad tidings of Jesus have been proclaimed far and wide.  We here at the Gospel Messenger CHURCH are very excited to report to you that in the year 2011, we have prayed with 421 people the prayer of repentance. As an evangelist, I am so humbled by this.  But at the same time I want to shout from the rooftops an encouragement to all my brothers and sisters that if I can do this, then they can too.  Praise the Lord!!!

The True Grace of GOD.........
Titus 2:11-15
For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men.
Three great blessings of grace:


1. It brings salvation (Tit. 2:11; Eph. 2:8-9).

2. It has appeared to all men (Tit. 2:11; Jn. 3:16; Rev. 22:17).

3. It teaches seven great life changing lessons:


(1) To deny ungodliness (Tit. 2:12).

(2) To deny worldly lusts (Tit. 2:12).
(3) To live soberly (Tit. 2:12; 1:8; 2:2-7).

(4) To live righteously (Tit. 2:12; Heb. 12:14; Rom. 6:14-23; 8:12-13).

(5) To live godly (Tit. 2:12; 2Tim. 3:12).

(6) To live soberly, righteously, godly in this life (Tit. 2:12).

(7) To look for the return of Jesus Christ (Tit. 2:13; Php. 3:20

Open Air Preaching

Proverbs 1:20-21 Wisdom crieth without; she uttereth her voice in the streets:  She crieth in the chief place of concourse, in the openings of the gates: in the city she uttereth her words... The Gospel Messenger Church is an open air preaching ministry dedicated to spreading the great news of Jesus Christ; his birth, death, and resurrection.  We preach repentance to God and Faith in Jesus Christ for remission of sin (Acts 2:38). We also proclaim that The Holy Bible is the Word of God and that it is error free. Our messages are a call to righteousness and a cry to abandon wickedness (Jeremiah 8:6) shouted aloud from the street corners of Atlanta and everywhere as the lord directs.

I am a part of the" Fellowship of the Unashamed."The die has been cast.I have stepped over the line.The decision has been made. I am a disciple of Jesus Christ.I won't look back,let up,slow down,back away,or be still. My past is redeemed,my present makes sense,and my future is secure.I am finished and done with low living,sight walking,small planning,smooth knees,colorless dreams,chintzy giving,and dwarfed goals. I no longer need pre-eminence, prosperity,postion,plaudits,or popularity.I now by presence,lean by faith,lift by prayer,and labor by power. My pace is set,my goal is Heaven.My road is narrow,my way rough,my companions are few,my Guide reliable,my mission clear.I cannot be bought,compromised,deterred,lured away,turned back,diluted or delayed. I will not flinch in the face of sacrifice,hesitate in the presence of adversity,negotiate at the table of an enemy,ponder at the pool of popularity,or meander in the maze of mediocrity.
